Static Problems with Toner Cartridges
November is here and if you make online purchases of toner for your laserjet printer or copier, or inkjet cartridges for any other purpose, you will want to be reminded that when a cartridge is sent by UPS or FedEx, it is exposed to cold air. Purchasing online requires that cartridges being sent to you must have time to adjust to inside temperatures - usually the cartridge must be allowed to sit to reach a room temperature of 59 degrees. Failing to allow your cartridge to adjust to room temperature may cause you more of a headache than you had expected, as static problems could occur, as well as printing problems.
